How To Logout Another MacOS User

Sharing a PC could be cumbersome, especially if it's macOS.

It has terrible user/resource management, and even after years of using it, sometimes I find myself lost when trying to do basic things like force quit a program or ask another user to force close an in-use app.

But, today I learned that to do that, all we need to achieve this task is:

  • Open the Activity Monitor
  • Search for a process called loginwindow , and it'll show up all the users
  • Double-click in the user you want to close
  • Quit
  • Force Quit

Be aware that this will close every unsaved work from that user.
